Sidhu recalls funny sides of Kapil and Sachin
Former cricketer turned comedy circus judge, Navjot Singh Sidhu, has recalled some hilarious and interesting trivial about cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and Kapil Dev from his own batting days during his current stint as a housemate in the realty TV show, Bigg Boss 6.
While in conversation with other housemates at Bigg Boss this week, Sidhu shared the lost trivia of a young debutant Sachin Tendulkar actually sleepwalking during their tour to Pakistan in 1989. "It was Sachin's first test match in Pakistan. One night I was surprised to see a dazed looking Tendulkar walking out of his hotel room and mumbling in Marathi ''maajha bat, maajha bat (my bat, my bat)''. That's when we realised that he was actually sleepwalking,'' Sidhu reminisced at the Bigg Boss show.
Sidhu also praised Tendulkar for fearlessly facing the scorching deliveries of Waqar Younis, even after a bouncer had hit Sachin hard, causing his nose to bleed profusely. Despite being injured, Sachin refused to budge from the wicket and determinedly said, "Main khelega (I will play)'', which earned him a lot of respect among his Indian team mates and also in the Pakistan camp.
However, the sleepwalking incident about Sachin had only once hit the newspaper headlines in 1989 -- after which there were no more stories about the master blaster's somnambulism. Now, after 23 years, Sidhu revived those days in whites.
The turbaned Sikh known for his smart one-liners or 'Sidhuisms', also recalled the time when India was playing test series against West Indies in 1983. "Kapil paaji (Dev) had taken a record nine wickets and all the international mediapersons wanted to interview him. I cautioned Kapil not to face the Press, as his English was not very good in those days. Instead, I suggested that we should go and watch actress Meenakshi Seshadiri in the hit film Hero. However, Kapil decided to let the international media interview him,'' said Sidhu.
When repeatedly asked why a big country like India could not produce another fast bowler like him, Kapil famously quipped that 'his mother was very old, and his father was no longer alive -- hence there cannot be another Kapil Dev'!

Aashkha-Urvashi accuse Niketan!
Every
other day some or the other drama is seen in Bigg Boss house , but this
season is truly different as the tiffs between inmates are on some petty
things.We had already seen a few days back that a lot of chaos had
happened (while budget allocation) over coffee and it seems that was not
enough, now the latest thing to happen inside the notorious house is
Urvashi and Aashkha accusing Niketan of being selfish.
Here are the details- it so happens that Niketan keeps the coffee bottle above the fridge and Urvashi happens to see the bottle. This gives rise to a big drama as Urvashi and Aashkha go on to say that Niketan is selfish enough to hide the coffee bottle for this long. Not just that, they also say that they make food and share it with everyone so why does Niketan have to do something like this.
With all this , looks like the Bigg game has already begun!

Nominations sets the Bigg Boss 6 house on fire
The housemates are reeling from one shock and Bigg Boss puts them in another predicament as he announces the commencement of the coming week's nominations. All the housemates go inside the confession room and nominate two contestants each with the exception of Navjot Singh Sidhu who refuses to cast in his votes as he feels it is going against his principles. Bigg Boss warns Sidhu that if he doesn't nominate anybody, he will be forced to punish him. Sidhu accepts his punishment willingly.
Introducing a twist in the tale, Bigg Boss announces Sidhu's punishment - he nominates every housemate in the house for eviction! The minute the announcement is made, all the housemates are shell shocked. A few laugh, but most of them are upset & angry. Sidhu is fine with this harsh punishment. Soon the housemates split up in small groups and start discussing this unforeseen situation. The housemates argue, discuss and eventually fall asleep in a disturbed state of mind.
The next morning the arguments, discussions and repercussions of the nominations continue as the housemates discuss whether the punishment meted out is fair on everyone. The housemates take turns and explain their point of view to Sidhu & request him to consider nominating somebody and not make everyone else suffer. Vrijesh & Niketan play the biggest role in convincing Sidhu to nominate two housemates. Here, we see Urvashi and Rajeev get in to an argument as Urvashi blames Rajeev for having a fickle nature - one moment talking highly of Sidhu yet at the same time not respecting his decision to not nominate anyone. Finally, however, Sidhu gives in and nominates two people he wants evicted from the house. In the end, three housemates are nominated for next week's eviction, allowing the other housemates to breathe a sigh of relief. After that, a face off is announced between the nominated three, out of which the winner will be exempted from eviction.
The face off keeps the housemates entertained, leaving the most deserving winner excited about being saved from eviction. After many ups and downs, the day ends on a high note as Bigg Boss sends in Karan Johar's gift hamper for the housemates. Sapna Bhavnani is the most excited and literally jumps on Vrijesh and dances all around the house along with the other housemates, happy on receiving 'coffee' from Karan - indeed a big luxury in the Bigg Boss house!

Salman Khan launches Bigg Boss Tour
The aam aadmi will now get a peek into the live action on Bigg Boss 6, through a paid tour. The channel has introduced buses that will take fans from Mumbai to the Bigg Boss house in Lonavla, October 19 onwards. The house tour also includes access to a secret passage and a chance to watch Salman Khan shoot.
The visitors also get to take a look at memorabilia of popular housemates from the previous seasons. For instance, Pamela Anderson's white zari sari, Veena Malik's shoes and Rakhi Sawant's belan amongst others. Salman's chalet where the host unwinds during the shoot, the control room that houses numerous cameras capturing every move of the contestants, and the confession room are the other areas that would be open for public viewing. The Friday tours will be a highlight as visitors will get an opportunity to view the shoot of the eviction episode hosted by Salman.
Raj Nayak, CEO, Colors, said, "The show has a huge fan base and viewers feel that the show is scripted. We want to break the myth by taking people across and showing them the functioning of the show after which this perspective will change. We also aim at bringing live action to the viewers."

Kashif, Rajeev nominated for the next elimination
In the nomination episode on Sunday, Kashif Qureshi and Rajeev Paul were
nominated for the next eviction. Either of the two will be seen leaving
the Bigg Boss house next on Friday.

This decision of Bigg Boss left many contestants, except a few like Sapna, Aseem, Kashif and Urvashi, on the show disturbed. However, Niketan and Rajeev appeared to be the most upset. Bigg Boss 6: Common man Kashif Qureshi’s entry courtesy Salman Khan?
A leading daily has confirmed that the superstar apparently knows Kashif since his film ‘Wanted’. Qureshi happens to be a personal trainer of a Hyderabadi businessman Hamed Saberi, who knows Salman personally.
Talking to the daily, Hamed Saberi said, “We are close to Salman bhai. Being my personal trainer, Kashif has met Salman many times in the past. In fact, he did help choreograph a few stunt sequences while Salman was shooting ‘Wanted’.”
Saberi was quick enough to add, “Kashif is a very hard working and focused boy. He had to go through a process of screening before he was selected. His entry into the ‘Bigg Boss’ house will surely do him a lot of good. It will help him get great exposure and more work.”

Bigg Boss Season 6 : Common man Kashif calls Karishma 'honey'
On Day 3 of Bigg Boss, the common man Kashif Qureshi called the model
Karishma Kotak 'honey'. It seems as if we he is trying his best to flirt
with Karishma. It happened when Sana, Karishma and Kashif were cleaning
and sweeping the floor. Sana got irritated and told Kashif to stop with
the 'honey bunny' and to just cut the crap and collect the trash.
On Day 2 also, Kashif addressed Karishma as a 'fresh fruit in the garden of Eden'. Kashif is looking at every opportunity to get cozy with Karishma, while Karishma has made it clear on the show that she does not want her named to be linked up with this aam aadmi.

Navjot Singh Sidhu
Navjot Singh Sidhu had a volatile career as a cricketer from 1983 to 1999. He announced his retirement from cricket in December 1999. He played over 50 Test matches and over 100 ODIs scoring over 7,000 international runs. He has 27 centuries to his credit in an 18-year career. Sidhu restarted his career as a commentator for Nimbus sport when India toured Sri Lanka in 2001. He also figured as a judge on the television programme - "The Great Indian Laughter Challenge." He also appeared in other similar programmes as "Funjabi Chak De." Sidhu entered politics & won on a Bharatiya Janata Party ticket from the Amritsar seat in the Indian general elections, 2004.
Sana Khan
Sana Khan is an Indian film actress and super model. Best known for her appearance in the Amul Macho ad ‘yeh to Bada toing hai’. Sana Khan is a popular Tollywood actress who was born and brought up in Mumbai. She worked as model in Mumbai, appearing in more than 30 ad films alongside the likes of Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar. She later on, appeared in item numbers in films such as Bombay to Goa and Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal, before she was signed in 2008 do to the lead female role in the Tamil film Silambattam.
Vrajesh Hirjee
Vrajesh has acted in over 40 Gujarati plays and has done a number of successful movies like Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, Golmaal Returns and Tum Bin. He also hosted the show THE MAN'S world SHOW. He is an AIESEC Alumnus (Association Internationale des Étudiants en Sciences Économiques et Commerciales). Recently, he appeared in the water game show Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout as a contestant. He is currently seen in SAB TV sitcom Bhai Bhaiya Aur Brother.
Sampat Pal Devi
Sampat Pal Devi is the founder and leader of a group of women vigilantes in northern India's Uttar Pradesh state's Banda District, called the "Gulabi Gang". Sampat Pal Devi is a former government health worker who came into news after the launch of the book “Sampat Pal – A warrior in pink saree” in 2008. Sampat Pal Devi, a mother of five and a former government health worker found the Gulabi Gang in 2006 as a response to the widespread domestic abuse and other violence against women.
Urvashi Dholakia
Urvashi is half-Punjabi, half-Gujarati by birth. She was married at age 16, had twin sons at age 17, and was divorced one-and-a-half years later; her sons study in a boarding school. Urvashi is best known for playing the villainous character, Komolika, in the Star Plus daily soap opera, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, which ran from 2001 to 2008
Aashka Goradia
Born and brought up in Ahemdabad, Aashka made her acting debut with Balaji Telefilms. Aseem Trivedi
Aseem Trivedi is a controversial Indian political cartoonist and activist, best known for his anti corruption campaign Cartoons Against Corruption. He is a founder member of Save Your Voice, a movement against internet censorship in India. He has been awarded the Courage in Editorial Cartooning Award for 2012 by Cartoonists Rights Network International. Trivedi is originally from Unnao district in Uttar Pradesh, where his parents still live. He moved to Delhi in 2010, when he was just 22 and continued to work as a freelance cartoonist. He became closely involved with the Anna Hazare led campaign against corruption and displayed several of his cartoons during protests.
Rajeev Paul
Rajeev Paul is an Indian television actor best known for his negative role in Balaji’s daily soap Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii. He also participated in Nach Baliye,a dance reality show with his then wife Dalnaz Paul. Rajeev Paul was born and brought up in Ajmer and hails from an army family. He went to an acting school before starting his career as an actor with Mahesh Bhatt’s television soap Swabhimaan. Rajeev was married for 14 years to a famous Indian television actress Delnaaz Paul before they split in 2010.
Sayantani Ghosh
Sayantani Gohosh appeared in Naaginn - Waadon Ki Agniparikshaa , a serial on Zee TV in 2007. Sayantani won the Miss Calcutta contest and that brought her under the spot light. Later on, she ventured into Bengali films. Sayantani happened to act with Bengali film superstar Prasenjit. She made her acting debut on television with Kumkum in 2002. After Kumkum, Sayantani was picked to play the lead in Sahara One’s Ghar Ek Sapna. Later, she bagged another leading role in Aroona Irani’s Naagin in 2007. Niketan Madhok
Niketan Madhok is a Model who has walked on ramp for famous Indian and International labels. He came into limelight after Lakme India Fashion Week 2002. Niketan started his career as a model in 1994 with shows in Mumbai and Bangalore. A year later he hit the Delhi ramp circuit.Niketan has worked with a lot of big names in the fashion industry like Rohit Bal, Rajiv Bajaj, Rohit Gandhi, J J Vallaya, Suneet Varma, Muzaffar Ali, Ashish Soni among others. Karishma Kotak
Karishma moved to India in October 2005 where, within two months, she got herself onto the prestigious Kingfisher Swimsuit calendar. In 2006, Karishma took part in the "Lakme Fashion Week". She has also done music videos for artists such as Jay Sean, Sonu Nigam and Apache Indian. She has now become the brand ambassador for Dove (shampoo) in India. She remains best known for her work as the Kingfisher Girl. She has also appeared in a number of other commercials.
Kashif Qureshi
Kashif hails from the city of Hydrabad, Andhra Pradesh. He got selected to be the 'Common Man' (non-celebrity) via auditions held across India.

The list of Bigg Boss season 6 participants is out. Here is a list of
15 participants, who will be locked up today inside the Bigg Bose house
for the next three months.
It is said to be the largest house created by far. This time, the property expands to a total area of over 15,000 sq feet. The spectacularly designed house has been built keeping in mind the 'Vaastu' position along with 'Feng-shui' elements added to maintain peace and harmony in the house.
The dominant pink in the interiors has been replaced this season with a variance of bold and bright colors with shades of white, yellow, orange & green.
